Dr. Meade is originally from Mount Vernon, New York and is a board certified emergency physician doctor and an expert on the convergence of healthcare, wellness and preventative care.
He Co-Founded the athletic training center Activ8 based on the belief that elite sports performance begins with a solid foundation to be systematically built upon through an integrated, scientific approach. This allows to reach optimal athletic performance while reducing the risk of injury.
He is a graduate of Duke University and completed his Residency at the University of California San Diego. He is a published author in emergency medicine literature and is a member of the Academic College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Meade is committed to the communities of North Country San Diego currently serving on the board of directors for the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce. He actively supports his church and local non-profits.
