ACTIV8 ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT CURRICULUM

FOUNDATION

In the Foundational Athletic Development Program, our expert team of coaches will address proper movement mechanics for running, jumping, and lifting. Along with mechanics, we will address developing core strength/stability in order to control our body in athletic positions. Flexibility and mobility will be addressed so athletes can perform through the full range of motion, as well as decrease the risk of injury.

TUESDAY/THURSDAY

TIME: 4:00-5:00 PM

 

COMPETITIVE

The Competitive Athletic Development Program is similar to our Elite level, but focuses more on proper mechanics and corrective movements. Our competitive curriculum addresses injury prevention, running mechanics, balance, coordination, power development, flexibility, speed, and strength. Athletes will be tested quarterly to track progress and quantify improvements.

Day 1: Monday @ 4:00 pm or Tuesday @ 5:00 pm

Day 2: Wednesday @ 4:00 pm

Day 3: Thursday @ 5:00 pm or Friday @ 4:00 pm

 

ELITE

The Activ8 coaching philosophy is deeply rooted in preparing high school and collegiate athletes for the intensity of collegiate sports while challenging them to continue developing their athletic abilities. Evolving athletic performance starts by assessing each athlete’s strengths and deficiencies. Each class is 90 minutes in length consisting of four training segments:

Flexibility Cool Down
